The Week In Review.....

Bright and early last Sunday we set out for northern destinations.

Monday morning we arrived at my sweet in-laws house in time for late breakfast/early lunch. We had a wonderful 2 days in Pennsylvania catching up on family news, relaxing and discussing politics!

Regretfully we bid them farewell on Tuesday afternoon and by evening had landed on Cheryl's doorstep in New Jersey. It was great to see her ,Gregg and the kiddies. Lots of playtime with the little ones. We stayed in Ashleigh's room Tuesday and Wednesday nights giving us bonus hours each day. We visited the Liberty Science Museum and managed daily walks with the family despite the record breaking heat. The kids are growing so fast .....so good to spend time with them.

Thursday out to Long Island to Tami and Marc's house. We got to swim in their refreshing pool and lounge for a while in their private backyard retreat .....truly beautiful! We enjoyed one of Kyle's baseball games Thursday evening and Friday the crew got a break from the heat at the movie theater (World War Z).  Best of all was time at the house playing cards and games and simply enjoying laughter and good times together.

Too soon the visit ended and after a brief night's sleep we headed south at 5:30 this morning. Long ride but made it to home sweet home safely. Unfortunately our upstairs AC is now on the blink....ugh. Oh well, open windows and fresh air will have to do.
