This morning we had the joyful experience of joining the Kahns at their church for service. Olivia and Brady performed a number of songs with the children's group during worship. They were so cute but more importantly the lyrics of each song shared the love of Christ and the need for salvation. Fantastic!
The little ones served a spaghetti lunch to the congregation and had the "donation jar" on each table. The money collected for their service will go toward Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. The kids will shop for the contents, pack and prepare them for shipping. What a great way for them to learn about giving.
After our meal we went back to the Kahn's house for a family celebration of Brady's birthday. Good times!
We left mid-afternoon in time to get home and prepare for our small group at church. Another lesson prompting self evaluation and our true commitment to follow the Lord. I can't say enough about this study.
So ready for bed......
