Fields Of Service.......

We left the house about 11:30 for our assigned duties at church. We were greeters tasked with welcoming missionaries and assisting in setting up their displays. Before the majority of them arrived Thom and I assembled the CPC booth and aided others where ever needed.

We exited by 2 p.m. for an "intimate" gathering of Tim Scott supporters at Wofford College in Spartanburg. It was very cool. Our U.S.Senator had just announced his intention to run for re-election and about 25 of us gathered to hear him speak with us personally. This invitation was extended to Alexia, and the Board of Directors at CPC.....quite the experience. He was accompanied by our U.S. Congressman Trey Gowdy whom we have seen and heard at numerous functions and always been totally impressed. So proud to have these two principled, conservative leaders representing our state.

Immediately following we were back at church to greet and direct the missionaries as they returned to the FLC for dinner. Hate to admit that at 6:30 we bailed on the event and headed home. Will have an early morning to late evening of "mission work" tomorrow and we were pooped.

Thank You Lord for all the incredible blessings of this day and for those who serve you selflessly each day of their lives.....
