Another day, another trip to Lowes! This time it was for plumbing supplies to fix the upstairs commode but my gosh, I think Thom has been there (or to Home Depot) every day for 2 plus weeks!
The painter showed up early this morning to give us a price for stripping the old deck area and repainting the old and the new. Since painting is the one chore my hard working husband does not find gratifying it was agreed that hiring a pro was the way to go. They start Monday and the project should see completion in a week. Replacing the lattice will then be Thom's finishing touch. Cannot wait! Our chairs were delivered and I ordered matching snack tables....maybe an indoor/outdoor rug and bright cushions to add some color....we'll see.
A pre-dinner float and ready for a relaxing evening.....
