Thom returned home from Florida on Saturday. Although a long drive he enjoyed the golf with my uncle and a day of Stuart sunshine. So sweet of him to transport my mom and aunt to her condo!

Sunday was a busy one. Following worship and SS Thom and I had the privilege of lunching with U.S. Senator Ted Cruz at a local restaurant. Alexia had invited us to join this small group of less then 20 people to share a meal and personal conversation with this impressive man. He is a staunch Christian with conservative values and a deep desire to return this country to it's roots. Very cool. After lunch we headed to the public reception planned for Senator Cruz at River Falls golf course. A good turnout there ......very cool!

Thom began his Sunday evening small group last night. He will be teaching SS teachers. The class was well attended and I know he will do a great job as usual.

Today Thom had another day rubbing shoulders with the famous. He played golf in a pro/am tournament for Impact Sports at a high end course in Spartanburg with some well known names in the sport.Came home with stories, photos, autographs and prizes.......he was in his glory!

Relaxing for a bit. Full week ahead......
