Being a skeptic has it's rewards. We awoke to no more than 1-2 inches of snow with totally passable roads. It managed to mostly melt into non-existence by noon..... such a joke!
Thom was once again hard at work by 9:00 a.m.. I got busy early also but served some purpose carrying the wall board upstairs.....very heavy stuff! We have now achieved 2 separate rooms but there is still so much to be done. I love it already. The rooms are not as small as I had feared and I am certain we they will fit our needs.
The floor guy came at lunch time and we made an immediate decision to go ahead with that improvement project. The wood will be delivered on Monday and they will lay the floor on Thursday. It sits for about 2 weeks and then the finishers come in to sand and stain. That part is a 5 -7 day project. It will be a challenge having the living room and dining room furniture stuffed into the family room and kitchen for almost a month but the inconvenience will be worth it.
Chilling right now. A neighbor was supposed to stop by to discuss some local issues but as of now has been a no show. Not going to give him much more time before pajamas.
Every day has its blessings. So grateful......
