Eleven For Lunch......

Thusday was a blur of housework and guest preparations but it was worth all the effort.

We welcomed 11 CPC friends at noon. The staff of 8 were treated to a morning of pampering even to the point of having volunteer drivers chauffeuring them from point A to point B for surprise treats. Following a gourmet breakfast, pedicures and massages the drivers delivered them to our door where I had prepared a scrumptious lunch (opinion based on guest feedback) served in the screen room. The drivers were then off duty so everyone enjoyed the repast. Debra's birthday celebration was part of the day's events and I had decorated her cake with the "EWYL" logo.....she was brought to tears and I was thrilled at her response. Presents were opened and the group headed outside where dessert was served at the dock as they boarded the pontoon for a lake tour. Thom is considered the "CPC husband" and he fulfilled his role well at the helm.

Coffee and air conditioned laughter over a few Carbonaro Effect episodes (how we ended up with that entertainment I have no idea). It was a perfect day!

We ran a few errands in the short time before dinner and are now about ready to chill with feet up......
