Weekend Stuff.....

Friday and Saturday were filled with chores and errands. We also manned the CPC booth in the evening at Fairview Baptist Church mission conference.

Sunday the Gastonia crowd arrived after church. We celebrated Aunt Joan's birthday with a great meal and the typical Camp Carney array of summer activities. We closed a full day with a bit of Olympic viewing to cheer on the USA.

Brian spent the night. I arose and went for a haircut this morning.....he is still snoozing away. Fine with me....let him enjoy the end of his summer vacation. Some pool time and I'm sure a few games then dinner out at the Olive Garden (got a gift card).

Thankful he still wants to spend time with the old folks.....
