It warms my heart when my clients at CPC are moving their lives closer to the Lord. One of my sweet girls came in for her final appointment on Wednesday. Her reason......she is beginning volunteer training and doesn't think she can be a client and volunteer at the same time!! Praises!
Thursday was scheduled as a quiet day....nope! We arose early to secure our Operation Christmas Child date online (hooray!) and the morning morphed into a hodgepodge of pickup and delivery trips for CPC. Fun and running around till about 1:00, a little lunch and catch up before the Benjamin House Fundraiser banquet in the evening.
Wrapping day has always been Labor Day but got pushed back due to Tanner's visit. Yesterday became that day. From mid-morning till 8:00 p.m. (with a walk break) I stood at the counter with paper, scissor and tape preparing tons of gifts for Christmas opening. We still have much shopping to do but I love having that finished.
A full day ahead. We were invited to a Moose fundraiser this evening with old friends.....BBQ and an Elvis impersonator. Should be entertaining.
