The forecast was grim; the radar clearly had a wintry mix destined for our zip code; the TV streamed storm warnings; rain and sleet would surely pour down on Bethlehem.....nope! A few drops on and off with a slight wind sweeping through town....that was it! The city gates opened as scheduled and received nearly 700 visitors. Surely the number would have been higher had the forecast been less foreboding.
Highlighting my evening was having the Kahns and Tarantinos experience our little village. They arrived at the house for a quick dinner and became one of the early tour groups with one of the best guides. Initially again this evening I had the well to myself but after an hour or so reinforcements arrived and I was able to spend some time in the shops warming up.
A wonderful day......a wonderful night.....a wonderful husband and family I adore...thank you Lord.....
