Ready, Set........

Juggling a 22 pound turkey brought back the memory of the "Raymond" episode where the plucked bird slips out of Debra's arms and slides across the floor. Mine came close as I attempted to guide it into the cooking bag after coating it with oil and seasoning.

Finishing touches on appetizers, dinner and dessert menu items along with scrubbing the house from top to bottom occupied the entirety of my day. When Thom returned from golf we did get into the woods only to find mangled, fallen trees and branches cluttering our trail. What a job clearing the mess.

As with many other households busy with preparations for tomorrow's feast we enjoyed a simple pizza evening meal....no fuss, no muss. Exhausted I dosed for a bit in the recliner after my shower but think I'll give in to sleep early. TV is a waste and I've no energy for another project.

Looking forward to family and friends gathering at Camp Carney by midday.....
