Two + Weeks.......

I need to reference our desk calendar to try and update this long overdue blog post.

We have been super busy as usual. Here at Camp Carney us old folks are always on the move. Here are a few highlights:
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays always full of faith and fun at Miracle Hill and CPC.
-Our sweet friend Debra is recovering well from knee replacement (answered prayer) and we enjoyed a visit soon after her surgery while delivering a feast of "stuffed shells" and sides.
-Celebrated Julia's birthday at Janice's with family and my "Olaf" cake (which if I say so myself came out really cool).
-Had our last two Sunday night life group classes .....great study of God's Word on issues of fear.
-Attended Teagan's preschool graduation......she is precious!
-Yummy Italian dinner at Apollos with our Sunday School class.....very fattening but great company and worth the calories.
-Major highlight.....Janice and Steve renewed their vows in celebration of their 10th wedding anniversary. Beautiful church ceremony during which Julia and Olivia sang "His Name" and Ben and Brady read scripture. They wrote their own vows and it brought tears to many eyes. A wonderful party followed at their home....it was an amazing event.
-Phyllis (CPC staff member and friend) had surgery after an emergency hospital admission.Visited twice and presently she is on the mend.
-Thom at a CPC board of directors meeting tonight.

Surely much has been overlooked.......oh well.

Life continues to be a blessing from God and we are forever thankful......
