Friends......

Wednesday I drove to CPC with my rear bumper held on with wire and a prayer. It runs fine but I'm anxious for the cosmetic repairs to be taken care of. We have an appointment with the adjuster on Tuesday.

By 10 a.m. on Thursday we were headed to Surfside for a few days with Dave and Emily at their beach house. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable 3 days but almost none was spent on the beach......way too cold and windy. Emily and I shopped most of Friday while the guys visited the golf course. We enjoyed evenings of Sequence and a movie but mostly just spent the time catching up. This morning before heading home we drove to Murrell's Inlet for the annual "Blessing of the Inlet". The small church was surrounded by dozens of booths with local artisans selling their wares and opportunities to partake of all kinds of seafood concoctions. We wandered for awhile examining all the offerings before getting back on the road. Perfect conclusion to our mini-vacation.

Long ride back but thankful to have returned safely to Camp Carney......
