Tomato Time.......

The tomato and pepper crop flourished during our absence resulting in a few kitchen hours stewing the yummy red globes with fresh from Thom's garden peppers and a variety of other flavorful veggies. The labors started after church at noon and after 9 hours bubbling gently in the crock pot I finally transferred them into containers for quick freezing.....will be delicious!

Aside from cooking the day was once again spent finishing household catch up stuff. It takes forever to return all our vacation paraphernalia to it's proper location. Thom washed both cars and worked outdoors most of the afternoon. A quick Walmart run after evening service and a bit of TV time.

Back to normal week as of tomorrow. 

So grateful for God's love and grace.....
