Days With Daughters......

Saturday was a long but rewarding day. While I joined the WMU ladies for a late breakfast Thom was car hunting for Stefanie. We had been denied access to an Explorer due to it being in the service bay on Friday so Thom went back to the dealer to try and get a look. Upon arrival at the dealership the salesman told him it had been sold on line overnight....what???? Thom explained that we had been there the previous day and sure enough he honored that "first come, first served" policy, showed Thom the car and within minutes Thom drove it off the lot to our house. It was in as near perfect condition as I have ever seen and we took the longest test drive in history to Gastonia to pick up Stefanie and Emmy than back to Greer for the paperwork. (with dealers approval of course). She loves it and we are so happy to have this problem solved.....God is so faithful to answer our prayers and provide!

Yesterday after SS and worship we had an amazing fun day with the Santulli and Bishop families. Tami, Marc and all the boys had arrived on Saturday and were lodging with Colleen and Mike. We all met up at the bowling alley, followed by Carson's soccer then back to Camp Carney for dinner and games. Love spending time with all of them! Hopefully we'll get to enjoy their company as much as possible for the week they are here in the south.

Today was cold and yucky ending in freezing rain and dangerous roads. The perfect day to do what we did.....stay home. I cleaned from top to bottom, did laundry, finished my last four 2017 CPC Bible verse studies and did an hour on the bike. Leftovers for supper.

Time to review for my post-abortion study tomorrow then off to bed. The rest of the week will be busy, busy......
